The word destiny comes from the old French word destine and originated in the 14th century which meant to do something, to design or to intend.&nbsp;</span></div><div><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Destiny also meant the power which predetermines, personified as a Goddess. Many cultures had goddesses of destiny like the goddesses of destiny in greece known as the 3 fates, clothos spun the thread that represented a person's life, Lachesis decided the length of your life and Atropos was the one who cut it at the appointed time!</span></div><div><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Freya was the &nbsp;Norse goddess of love, beauty and destiny.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">So destiny could be described as the path that you intend for yourself co-created with a divine source or your higher self.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I believe that before birth we make soul agreements as to what we will do during our lifetime. This does not mean that everything is predetermined.
